Having just done the job I can confirm the sleeve size in the 'how to' is spot on*. Whilst mine had little visible wrong it seemed prudent to use the sleeve. It's a good fit on an unaltered shaft. You will need a suitable length of tubing to drive it home as the small piece that comes with it is far too short. Use the same length of tube to drive the new seals home. The current blue seal needs its outer edge carefully tucked into the hole, I used a blunt straight screwdriver whilst maintaining pressure on the centre of the seal with the tube. Whilst it may be possible to do this on the vehicle - providing you don't need to remove the sector shaft - it's not that difficult to remove the whole unit & do it in a vice. Just be aware that there will be quite a lot of fluid still in it - as mentioned in the 'how to'! I used thin lines of white paint before detaching things from the box to ensure it went back on in exactly the same way - just line up the paint & you avoid any necessity to mess about trying to centre everything by guesswork. There is a small 'O' ring on each of the hose connections, best replaced. Note that one is slightly larger than the other.

Hmm. Looks like the thieves at photobucket have caught up with this. So no photos but the instructions stand.
